How enquiries work
This site is a guide to double glazed windows for older Wellington homes. It isn't an installer. The details you send go to GetQuoted, the business that runs the site, and from there to a local installer who gets in touch about your windows. No installer is named on this site yet.
Your details and the follow-up call
Only one installer gets your enquiry. It isn't sent round a list of firms.
Later on, we might ring you to ask whether you went ahead and how the installer dealt with you. It isn't a sales call. We use what you tell us to keep an eye on the installer and to work out what they owe us.
You're entitled under the Privacy Act 2020 to see the details we hold on you, and to ask for mistakes to be fixed. For that, or if you don't want the follow-up call, use the contact details in our privacy statement.
What the form asks for
Step 1
Your name and a phone number, and whether you're after new glass, new windows or aren't sure yet.
Step 2, all optional
Questions about the house and its frames, including heritage status, then your timing and an email address.
We ask about heritage status because Wellington City's District Plan has rules that can apply to window work on heritage buildings, in heritage areas and in Character Precincts.
Every field, and what's added as the form is sent, is listed in the privacy statement.
Who calls you back, and when
The installer rings you back, not us. They can talk through the house with you and arrange a time to measure, and the quote comes from them.
We can't say when that first call will come, or how long the work takes after it. Both are up to the installer.

The business behind the site
It's GetQuoted, a trading name of The Click Lab Limited. We don't measure, quote or fit anything. The installer does all of that and sets the price you pay.
Our income comes from the installer, who pays us for jobs that come through this site. You pay us nothing. We write the guides on the site too, using published sources such as Stats NZ, NIWA and Wellington City Council's District Plan.
This site isn't run by any glazing company with a similar name. If you meant to contact a particular firm, look for its own website.
If someone else takes over the service, your details may go to them, and the same terms would still apply.
